The meeting with a great traveler Fyodor Konyuhov.

On the 10th of February the meeting of our employees with the famous traveler Fyodor Konyuhov took place at our factory. It became a management’s present for all the men in the company on Defender of the Motherland Day. The meeting was organized a bit earlier because from the 22nd of February the company leaves for a corporate holiday. Fyodor is the only person in the world who made one-man sailing round the world three times. He conquered South and North Poles and won seven out of the highest mountains in the world. 
 

In the biography of Fyodor Konyuhov there is one interesting fact very few people know about. Hу made his first voyage almost 30 years ago to the banks of Belorussian river Berezina and lived there about 2 years. Konyuhov came to Bobruisk and entered prestigious college where future cabinet-makers were taught.



Fyodor’s ex-classmate and friend Vasiliy Krichko relives certain experience: « It was about 3 months before graduating when Fyodor got the letter from his father. He was going to travel round the world and invited his son to join him. Fyodor went to the deanery and asked to let him go and promised to close the gap then. But he was refused. The deans proposed him to pass the exams and then to go wherever he wanted. But Fyodor didn’t want to wait, he packed his belongings and left Bobruisk forever. And he still remains in the roll the student who wasn’t excluded but hadn’t finished educational establishment in short, he is still a lifelong student.»



Of course, we have seen Fyodor many times on TV but alive relationship with a legend inspired us. He is a wonderful person with extraordinary power and grit. His story is filled up with admiration and love towards people and our planet.
