April winner of a competition called "Service Station of the Month", which is conducted by a Russian magazine "Sovremennaya AZS", was defined without any debates."Belorusneft-Orgneftechim" # 49, situated at the crossroads of Nezavisimosty Avenue and Minsk ring road, was nominated the best service station of the merriest month of spring in CIS unanimously and undoubtedly . Its appearance is not the only thing worth while seing.
Works on the site which territory is 1.7 squire hectares, lasted from August 1 to December,18 2007. And though the station is made in Belorusneft corporate style the first thing one can see when approaching the station is an unusual canopy, designed by VDS Company. It is a convexo-convex diaphragm, tight between booms which are turned to the sky.
To a great extent the design was determined by the location of the complex. On one hand there is enormous open space, on the other - the main Minsk Avenue, which is several meters higher than the site. Concept-designers, the planners and the builders toiled to make the object look higher than it is. Particularly the complex of futuristic appearance should combine with other architectural buildings which are on the main capital's Avenue. The aim of the team was to build a complex which could attract the attention and to be of interest to people (car owners). Editorial employees of "Sovremennaya AZS" magazine consider that the aim was fulfilled.
The service station is the 17th in the capital net of "Belorusneft-Orgneftechim". And according to the company's investment programm it is not the last. In the near future the enterprise is going to build another 6 objects. Taking into account that the April winner is the third complex of this net, which has the rank of "Service Station of the Month", it will not take much time for another participant and probably the next winners from this organization.
