Petrol Stations' World History
VDS Company is glad to introduce its collection “Petrol Stations’ World History” where different types of the stations of the Past, imprinted in the amateur and professional photographs and postcards, are presented. This collection has carefully being built since 1999 and as of today consists of 41 photographical pictures. All of the pictures have acquired the masterpiece looks after professional photographer Vladimir Sutiagin has worked on them … Each year the collection grows larger. Valuable assistance is received by us from our Partners and friends, people who know about our interest and who want to help dearly.
Today it is our honor to present you with the results of our work, with everything we have managed to do so far.
While compiling our collection, we wanted to cover the evolution and modification of petrol stations with the flow of time, so we can study creative ideas of our predecessors and possibly learn something from them. Looking thoroughly through the presented works, we can admit that along with quite ordinary ones there are many unique and extraordinary sites, and each one of them saves its creators’ will to forestall the present and to draw maximum attention to the site.
We can observe the same today, when lots and lots of new petrol stations are created on the base of efficient technologies pressing towards the time when their services will be used for the cars of the Future.
Therefore, while working on the collection “Petrol Stations’ World History”, grain by grain, we have been building a mosaic, which tomorrow will possibly become an all-in-one historical picture of the World service stations development.
We would like to express our sincere hope that our efforts will be appreciated by you, and that our collection will leave only the best of impressions with you
